This notice supplements the Privacy Policy and explains how Sculpt handles consumer health data, including where consumer-health privacy laws apply. Sculpt is operated by Jacob Lagesse, 655 Bonanza Ct, Sunnyvale, CA 94087, USA. Contact: sculpt.app.support@gmail.com.
1. Categories and sources
Consumer health data can include information about your physical condition or fitness and inferences drawn from other information. Sculpt handles the following categories when you use the relevant features:
- Height, weight and weight history; age and gender information used in fitness analysis.
- Activity level, exercise and training preferences, routines and exercise weights.
- Body goals, focus muscles, target weight and optional target body fat.
- Body photos submitted for analysis and photo-quality results.
- Inferred muscle scores, estimated body-fat values or ranges, BMI, body calibration, calorie guidance and generated fitness recommendations.
Sources are you, your camera or selected photos, your use of the app, your saved profile and progress records, and analysis generated by Sculpt or its AI provider. Account and subscription providers supply identity and access information that can be associated with these records. Sculpt does not currently obtain this information from HealthKit or wearable feeds.
2. Why we collect and use it
We use these categories to save your measurements and goals, assess photo framing, produce the fitness analysis you request, show progress, estimate calorie guidance, and generate or synchronize routines. We also use information necessary to secure these functions, respond to support and privacy requests, and meet legal obligations. These outputs are fitness estimates, not medical measurements or diagnoses.
3. What we share and with whom
Supabase provides authentication, database and backend processing. It handles stored profile and goal fields, structured scan results, weight and routine records, and temporary processing of AI requests.
OpenAI processes cropped or masked body photos and selected profile and measurement context for photo checks and scan reviews. For routine generation it receives selected training days, focus areas, saved muscle-score context and eligible exercise information. The routine input excludes names, email addresses, account identifiers, photos and exercise weights.
Authorized personnel and service providers may access limited information when needed for support, security, deletion or legal obligations. If you send health information to our support email, Google processes that message as our email provider. Please do not send body photos by email. Professional advisers or authorities may receive information when necessary and legally permitted or required.
Apple, RevenueCat and sign-in providers handle purchasing or authentication information. Sculpt does not send them body photos, muscle scores or body-fat estimates for those purposes. Sculpt has no affiliates receiving consumer health data.
4. Choices and consent
You choose whether to provide optional information, submit photos or request AI analysis. Starting a photo-quality check, scan review or AI routine sends the information described above to the relevant processing services. Declining to provide information necessary for a feature prevents that feature from operating.
Where applicable law requires consent for collection or sharing, that processing is subject to the required consent. Acceptance of the Terms of Use is not a substitute for separate permission required by law. You may withdraw consent for future collection or sharing by emailing sculpt.app.support@gmail.com. We will explain the effect on the relevant feature and your options for deleting existing information.
We do not sell consumer health data or use it for advertising. This notice does not authorize sale or a new, unrelated use. Any materially different processing remains subject to applicable notice and permission requirements.
5. Access, deletion and appeals
Where applicable, you may request confirmation of collection, access or a copy of consumer health data, information about recipients, withdrawal of consent, or deletion. Send requests to sculpt.app.support@gmail.com or use the app's account-deletion control. We verify requests proportionately and respond within applicable legal deadlines. These rights do not require a paid subscription.
If a request is denied, you may appeal by emailing the same address with "Consumer health data appeal" in the subject. We will review the appeal and explain the outcome and any further complaint rights. Washington residents can submit a complaint to the Washington Attorney General if an appeal is denied. Other residents may contact their applicable regulator.
6. Retention and contact
Photos are temporary analysis inputs rather than a Sculpt photo archive; provider processing, security and legal retention exceptions can apply. Structured records are kept to provide your account until deletion, subject to limited lawful exceptions. Deletion includes relevant service-provider records as required by law, but provider processing and backup cycles can delay complete removal. See the Privacy Policy for retention criteria and account-deletion details.
